REACHING UP
At LCC we believe that true worship transforms our relationship with God and with others. When God's people begin to praise and worship Him using the Biblical methods, the power of His presence comes among His people in an even greater measure. We believe that through praise and worship we adore the character and nature of God, and we draw closer to Him and His presence. Worship has often been misunderstood as something that arises from a feeling which "comes upon you," but it is vital that we understand that it is rooted in a conscious act of the will, to serve and obey the Lord Jesus Christ.
REACHING IN
At LCC we realize that being a disciple of Jesus means that we are to learn about his teachings. But we also believe that learning is only part of discipleship. We believe that discipleship will change the way we live, the decisions we make, and how we value God's redemptive purpose in the world. That is why our sermons and lessons are geared to not only transform your relationship with God through learning the Bible, but to transform your relationship with Him by learning to serve those around you.

REACHING OUT
Much as been said about the purpose and mission of the Church, but at LCC we believe that Jesus told us what we needed to be about when he told us that we need to "make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only remedy for our sin, and that Jesus is the only way to the Father. So we spend a lot of time and energy on getting that message to as many people as possible. We also believe that true worship (reaching up), and true discipleship (reaching in) will help us to reach out with the message of reconciliation.
